Tamang Heritage Trek is the metaphor of cultural trek into the area of verdant and unspoiled nature protected from the ravages of modern world. The trail is blessed with great natural scenery and magnificent views of Himalayan lifestyle and traditions. It is exciting trek into the heart of Langtang that offers travelers a peek into everyday lives of Tamang community. The cultural and tradition of Tamang resembles to the Tibetan across the border.

14 days Tamang Heritage Trek begins with the sightseeing of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a long drive to Syabrubensi. Along the entire journey, trekkers will be rewarded with the arresting beauty of nature, captivating Himalaya peaks and get acquainted with intact culture and tradition of Tamangs residing in close vicinity of mighty Langtang.

Warm hospitality of locals, their colorful costumes, and architecture of their houses, age-old monasteries and place of prayer festoon the village and allows to savor the rare experience. Apart from cultural experience, Tamang Heritage Trek offers wilderness experience through stunning landscapes of alpine terrain, meadows and magical forest of rhododendron with soaring peaks at either side.

Day01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft), Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the hotel

Day02: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi (1,550m/5,100ft- 8/9 hours trek)

Day03: Syabrubensi – Gatlang (2,200m/7,217ft) – 5 hours trek

Day04: Gatlang – Tatopani (2,607m/8,550ft) – 6/7 hours trek

Day05: Tatopani – Thuman (2,400m/7,874ft) via Brimdang and Nagthali – 6 hours trek

Day06: Thuman – Briddim (2,345m/7,693ft) – 6 hours trek

Day07: Briddim – Lama Hotel (2,470m) – 6 hours trek

Day08: Lama Hotel – Langtang Village (3,430m/11,253ft) – 4 hours trek

Day09: Langtang Village – Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft) – 4 hours trek

Day10: Kyanjin Gompa – Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft) – 4/5 hours trek

Day11: Lama Hotel – Syabrubensi – 5 hours trek

Day12: Drive back to Kathmandu

Day13: Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu and preparation for the departure
