Gokyo Valley Trek is one of most famous offbeat trekking experience in Everest Region. Gokyo Valley Trek is possible to conduct through the year but the best time to trek are the months from March to May and September to December.

Gokyo Valley Trek showcases the stunning view of most popular mountain like Cho-Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu. There are 19 Gokyo Lakes in the Gokyo valley and all of them are fresh water system.

This trek is especially designed to passionate walkers who have desires to see the Everest and its surrounding from the different perspective. This moderate trek in Everest Region also best suits to those trekkers who prefer relatively quiet trails with less fellow trekkers.

Day01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1,300m), Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the hotel

Day02: Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding (2,562m/8,700ft) – 30 minutes flight/ 3-4 hours trek

Day03: Phakding – Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280ft) – 5/6 hours trek

Day04: Namche Bazaar – Dole (4,116m/13,152ft) – 5/6 hours trek

Day05: Dole – Machhermo (4,470m/14,663ft) – 4/5 hours trek

Day06: Machhhermo – Gokyo (4,800m/15,744ft) – 3/4 hours trek

Day07: Explore Gokyo Ri (5,360m/17,586ft) – trek to Machhermo (4,470m/14,663ft) – 6/7 hours trek

Day08: Machhermo – Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280ft) – 6/7 hours trek
