Khopra Trek is one of most exotic and newly discovered trekking route in Annapurna region. Novelty, the Khopra ridge is defined as the best “community trek” by Nepalese. This semi-difficult trail route allows trekkers to savor the true insight of Himalayan life. The trekking route meanders through the vivid Gurung community, stunning yak pasture and magical forest of rhododendron. The area is far from the concept of mass tourism; living in community lodges which operated mountain huts and homestay on behalf of schools and social institutions. The proceeds of these lodges is funded to local projects.

Khopra Trek features the culture of highlanders, their lifestyle, and the historic shrines and monasteries along with the stunning view of Mount Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Nilgiri (7,061m), Bharka Shikhar (7,647m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Hiuchuli (6,434m), Fishtail (6,997m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Annapurna IV (7,525m) and Lamjung Himal (6,983m).

Khopra Lake Trek begins after the scenic drive from Kathmandu all way to Pokhara. After short exploration, the trail ascends through steep hill and lush forest of Annapurna region. You will encounter many cultural villages and local eager to welcome you and allow you to enjoy their cultural and hospitality in traditional manner. Khopra Trek allows you to experience the life memory of exploring into wilderness section of Annapurna region and get the deep insight of exotic culture and artistic shrines of Nepal. 

Day01: Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport (1300m). Upon your arrival, we assist you to our hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day02: After breakfast, drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (900m/6-7 hours trek). Explore the charming city, Pokhara in the evening. Overnight at hotel

Day03: After breakfast, drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1116m/1.5 hours drive) and trek to Ghandruk (1940m/4-5 hours trek). Overnight at hotel.

Day04: Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani (2610m/5 hours trek). Overnight at hotel.

Day05: Trek from Tadapani to Bayeli Kharka (3420m/5-6 hours trek). Overnight at hotel.

Day06: Trek from Bayeli Kharka to Upper Chistibung (2975m/5-6 hours trek). Overnight at hotel.

Day07: Trek from Upper Chistibung to Khopra Ridge (3660m/5-6 hours trek). Overnight at local lodge.

Day08: Trek from Khopra Ridge to Swanta Village (2200m/5-6 hours trek). Overnight at hotel.

Day09: Trek from Swanta Village to Ghorepani (2855m/6 hours trek). Overnight at hotel.

Day10: Early morning, trek from Ghorepani to Poohill (3210m/2 hours trek) and trek to Hile (1480m/4 hours trek). Overnight at hotel.

Day11: Trek from Hile to Nayapul (1116m/5 hours trek) and drive to Pokhara (850m/1.5 hours trek). Overnight at hotel.

Day12: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1300m/6-7 hour drive). Overnight at hotel.

Day13: Transfer to airport for final departure.
