Mardi Himal, located at less than fifteen miles north to
Pokhara, is the most southerly mountain around Annapurna range. Mardi Himal
Trek is newly discovered trail in Annapurna region where very few trekkers have
make their way till date. Spectacularly situated at the lap Map of Mardi Himal
and impressive Machhapuchhre, this trek offers the exquisitely beautiful
mountain views, enthralling rivers, warm villages and green terraced fields.
Mardi Himal Trekking trail goes through small winding paths
passing several rhododendron forests until you climb above the tree line at an
elevation of 3,300m. The dramatic contrast in landscapes can be noticed from
the rugged high mountain landscapes with mesmerizing view of Mardi Himal,
Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Hiuchuli.
From High Camp (3580m), it takes around 3-4 hours of uphill
trek to climb Mardi Himal Base Camp, which offers the magical view of entire
Annapurna range, Hiuchuli, Machhapuchhre and Mardi Himal.
There are small teahouses and homestays along the entire
trekking route which offers basic yet comfortable accommodation and fresh food
to eat. If you are wishing to trek Mardi Himal during winter, we recommend you

Day01: Arrival at Kathmandu
Day02: Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (or Drive 7 hours) – drive to Kande (1 hour drive) – trek to Pitam-Deurali (2100m/2.5 hours trek)
Day03: Pitam-Deurali (2100m) – Forest Camp (2550m) – 4/5 hours trek
Day04: Forest Camp – Low Camp (2990m) – 3 hours trek
Day05: Low Camp – High Camp (3580m) – 3 hours trek
Day06: High Camp – Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500m) – High Camp (3580m) – 6/7 hours trek
Day07: High Camp – Sidhing (1850m) – 6 hours trek
Day08: Siding – Lumre (3 hours trek) – Pokhara (3 hour drive)
Day09: Flight or bus Pokhara – Kathmandu – 30 minutes via flight/6-7 hours via road
Day10: Final departure
