Pokhara Sarangkot Trek

Pokhara Sarangkot Trek is one of the best short trek in Nepal that offers the magnificent view of the Annapurna range, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Dhampus Peak, Hiunchuli, Machhapurccher, Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal and more. Sarangkot (1,700m) is the stunning hilltop nearby Pokhara, well-known for sunrise view and idyllic hills offering spectacular scenery and emerald landscapes.

Pokhara Sarangkot Trek starts from Pokhara itself after 6 hour drive from Kathmandu. in Pokhara, we spend a day exploring different lakes like Phewa lake, Begnas Lake and caves like Mahendra Cave, Gupteshwor Cave and also visit religious sites. Next day, we drive from Pokhara to Naudanda hill and start our trekking to Sarangkot.

Pokhara Sarangkot Trek passes through beautiful villages inhabited by Gurung Community, Paddy fields, rivers, valley lakes and magical forest rich in floral and faunal species. The culture and traditions of en route village is worth exploring and you will be amazed to experience the warm hospitality of locals. Pokhara Sarangkot Trek takes follows leveled and well managed with occasion steep and strenuous section.

Apart from rejuvenating sunrise view, trekkers can partake in different adventurous sports like Paragliding, Bungee Jumping, Zip Flyer and more. From the ridge of this hillock, you can enjoy the majestic view of Annapurna (8,167m), Manaslu (8,165m), Machhapuchre and Ganesh Himal (7,446m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167m). After these activities, we trek back to Pokhara via Hemja to conclude our trekking. 

Day01: Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport (1,300m). Welcome program by Crown Himalaya Trek and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight at hotel on B & B basis.

Day02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara – 6 hours by tourist coach or take domestic flight to Pokhara – 30 minutes. Sightseeing of Pokhara Valley. Transfer to the hotel at Pokhara. Overnight at hotel on B & B basis.

Day03: Drive from Pokhara to Naudanda – 45 minutes via local transportation or private car and trek for 2 and half hours to reach Sarangkot. Overnight at Lodge on B & B basis

Day04: Wake up early in the morning to have grand sunrise view and magnificent view of Mt. Fishtail, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri and trek back to Pokhara via Hemja – 3 hours trek

Day05: Drive or flight back to Kathmandu

Day06: Transfer to airport for final airport

Arrival in Kathmandu, Welcome program by Crown Himalaya Treks and direct transfer to Hotel with B/B plan
