Trishuli River Rafting is great opportunity to experience
the diversity of demography, landscapes, heritage and the floral and faunal
species. You can experience the utmost the thrills of white-water on two days
trip. It is easily customizable as per your interest and time. it is an
excellent river ideal for those seeking a short river trip without challenge
and huge rapids but with some exciting rapids, beautiful scenery and tranquil
environment.
Rapids like Snail’s nose, Teendevi, Malekhu rapid, Monkey
rapid, Upset, Surprise, Monsoon, Cotton Pony, Ladies Delight, S-Bend, Highway
and Pinball Rapid makes the trip more exciting and adventurous.
Tirshuli River is most accessible from Kathmandu, Pokhara
and Chitwan National Park, this trip can be designed for a varied duration
depending on the availability of time and interest. The river can be rafted for
1 to 3 days. Most rafter choose classic two days trip. The return journey to
Kathmandu takes approx. 4 hours and to Chitwan is approx. 1 hour.
We depart from Kathmandu and drive to Charaudi, the put in
point for Trishuli River Rafting. Further, the put-out point can be arranged to
whatever destination is next for you.
Day01: After breakfast (7:00 AM), drive from Kathmandu to starting point Charaudi (85km/3 hours drive). Upon arriaval, our rafting guide will give short briefing about the safety measures. Shortly, we will start our rafting journey for about 3 hours. The rapid grade is of 2 or 3 class, “Welcome” (2Grade), “Twins Rock” (2Grade), “Ladies Delight” (2 Grade), “Monsoon” (2 Grade), “Upset” (3 Grade) and more. We stop for lunch at Fishling and camp for overnight stay.
Day02: After breakfast (7:00 AM0, we will continue our rafting up to take out point. This day, we experience 3+ rapids, “Surprise”, “Butterfly”, S-Bend” and “Pinball”. We stop at Kurighat, the ending point of the Trishuli River Rafting. After lunch, we will drive back to Kathmandu or to Chitwan.
