Langtang Gosainkunda Trek is the best combination of remote and exotic valley Langtang with stunning high mountain lakes at Gosainkunda. Trek through the magical Langtang National Park and walk to end of the valley to view the daunting peaks.

Langtang Gosainkunda Trekking follows Trishuli River north to the Kathmandu, past Trishuli Bazaar and Dhunche to Syabrubensi, a small Sherpa settlement located at the south edge of the Langtang National Park. We then follow the eastern route into the Langtang Valley, crossing river several time to reach the lower section of the valley. Further, we hike though lush forest of rhododendron and oak and cross glacial moraine before entering into the colorful Tamang village of Langtang.

Langtang Gosainkund Trek further climbs up to Kyangin Gompa where you stay overnight and explore the surrounding. Traversing through hidden valley, Nubamatang, Syabru and climbing Sing Gompa to high plateau, we reach the holy lake Gosainkunda. Further, Langtang Gosainkunda Trek pass Laurebina and hike through Thare Pati, Kutumsang, Chisapani and finally back to Kathmandu, thus completing the Langtang Gosainkunda Trekking.

Itinerary

Day01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1,300m), Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the hotel

Day02: Kathmandu – Syabrubensi (1,550m/8 hour drive)

Day03: Syabrubensi – Lama Hotel (2,470m/6 hours trek)

Day04: Lama Hotel – Langtang Valley (3,430m/5 hours trek)

Day05: Langtang Valley – Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/3 hours trek)

Day06: Kyanjin Gompa – Thulo Syabru Village (2,250m/6 hours trek)

Day07: Thulo Syabru Village – Sing Gompa (3,330m/5 hours trek)

Day08: Sing Gompa – Gosainkunda (4,380m/6 hours trek)

Day09: Gosainkunda – Thadepati via Lauribiyak Pass (4600m) – 8 hours trek

Day10: Thadepati – Kutumsang (2,470m/6 hours trek)

Day11: Kutumsang – Chisapani (2,165m/6 hours trek)

Day12: Chisapani – Sundarijal (4 hours trek) and drive back to Kathmandu (1300m/1 hour drive)

Day13: Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu and preparation for the departure

Day14: Transfer to airport for final departure
