Trekking to Everest Base Camp is possibly the most dramatic and once in life adventure destination in the Himalaya. Everest Base Camp Trek is ultimate journey for trekkers and introductory expedition bid for those wishing to climb mountain summit. The landscapes and scenery throughout the trail is simply mesmerizing with array of glistening peaks, impressive route, beautiful glacier, age-old monasteries and Sherpa culture that have been still intact from modernity.

Everest Base Camp Trek starts after a scenic flight from Kathmandu and dramatic landing at Lukla: 35 minutes mountain flight. The trekking trail passes several Sherpa villages, lush vegetation across countless ridges: closer to the ice-giant than on any treks in Nepal.

4 Season Treks has carefully designed Everest Base Camp trekking itinerary in such way that allows proper acclimatization and rest period to reduce the risk of Acute Mountain Sickness before conquering the base camp of the-roof-of-the-world.

Trekking along the bank of Dudh Koshi River, we hike up to the hub of Khumbu region – Namche Bazaar, where we spend two nights to ensure proper acclimatization and exploration around. At Namche, we visit National Park with displays of floral and faunal species with culture of Sherpa tribe. We also visit to the scheduled valley Khunde and Khumjung and then trek to Dingboche passing Mong La and Phortse. Our EBC trekking route allows to explore every corner of Khumbu region that any classical treks in Nepal have been simply missing.

The landscapes becomes more wild and picturesque as we trek above the tree line across many gigantic ridges to Gorak Shep via Lobuche, the last settlement of EBC trail route. As the elevation rises, the temperature drops, the landscapes and geography changes into alpine scrub, rock and full of ice.
